Controlled the Fire in the Industrial area of Sharjah

The Sharjah civil defense teams effectively put out a fire that started in the spare parts warehouses in Industrial Area 5, and no casualties were reported.

Around 6:20 p.m., the Operations Room of the Sharjah Police General Command received word that a fire had started in Industrial Area 5. The National Ambulance, police patrols, and civil defense vehicles were sent to the location in response.

When they arrived, they discovered that the fire had spread to three warehouses that held spare parts, which is how the emirate’s citizens had seen the formation of a dark cloud of smoke.

The civil defense units started putting out the fire and left the area until the fire was contained and no one was hurt. To transfer the site to the appropriate authorities so they could look into the origins of the fire, cooling operations were started.

After putting out the fire, the teams evacuated the area and contained it without causing any injuries. To turn the site over to the relevant authorities so they can investigate the fire’s origin, cooling operations continued there.
