A renowned tertiary care facility in Al Ain has opened a full-fledged emergency room in response to community demands. Burjeel Royal Hospital in Al Ain was officially given permission by the Department of Health (DoH) in Abu Dhabi to offer patients emergency care services around the clock.
Executive director of the Department of Health’s Center for Emergency Preparedness and Response, Dr. Saleh Fares Al Ali, stated, “Our commitment to improving community health services is underscored by the Department of Health’s involvement in the opening of the emergency department at Burjeel Royal Hospital, Al Ain.
Working with the Burjeel emergency department and hospital management, we are committed to successfully helping this vital institution open. With this project, many emergency circumstances can be addressed appropriately, making it a substantial and valuable addition to the residence.
A team of highly skilled emergency and trauma care professionals, including board-certified emergency physicians, nurses, and support staff, oversee the 25-bed emergency department. Their mission is to guarantee that adult and pediatric patients receive comprehensive care across various medical and surgical emergencies.
