Abu Dhabi’s recent meeting brought good news for the fight against climate change. Dr. Sultan bin Ahmed Al Jaber, the Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology and soon-to-be president of COP28, is happy with the progress made.

The committee there agreed on a plan to start using a special fund to help those who suffer the most from climate change. This plan will be looked at during COP28, and everyone’s hoping it will be approved.

Dr. Sultan Al Jaber said:

“We’ve reached an important agreement today. It’s about supporting the many people who are having a hard time because of climate change. We’re hoping that at COP28, everyone will come together quickly to make a decision that will help these people.”

Now, all eyes are on COP28. If all goes well, it can be very helpful for everyone to combat the shifting climate.
