Baby born on the first days of Gaza war rescued alive from rubble of bombed house after 37 days

According to a Palestinian civil defense member, a baby born during the initial days of the Gaza war was saved alive after 37 days from the wreckage of the damaged house.

After 37 days, the child—dubbed a miracle baby—was extracted by a rescuer.

Photographer and civil defense participant Nooh Al Shaghnobi posted the footage on Instagram along with the caption, “Her parents were martyrs; they were born during the early days of the Gaza conflict.” After three hours of labor, she was carried out under God’s care and given the name Peace by His grace. She was resurrected as she emerged from the rubble, defying everyone’s predictions that she was dead.

“O Allah, protect her with your eyes that do not sleep and make her an asset for Islam and Muslims,” wrote Al-Shaghnobi.

With a huge military operation launched in response to the October 7 attacks, Israel has murdered almost 15,000 Palestinians in Gaza, the majority of whom were women and children.

The truce between Israel and Hamas forces in Gaza has been extended by two days, according to mediator Qatar on Monday. The fighting has lasted seven weeks, killing thousands of people and destroying the Palestinian territory.
