A 9-year-old from Dubai scales the highest mountain in the Americas at a height of almost 20,000 feet.

A 9-year-old child from Dubai recently ascended Mt. Aconcagua, the highest peak in the American continent, to about 20,000 feet. He is the youngest individual to have accomplished this accomplishment worldwide.

During this challenging mountaineering journey, he scaled 19,600 feet of the fearsome Mount Aconcagua, the highest peak in the Americas at 22,838 feet. Ayaan Saboor Mendon remarked, “I had heard about the difficulty level of summiting the peak, and this was something I had wanted to do for a long time.”

Ayaan, a student at North London Collegiate School in Dubai, had difficulties. The young mountaineer encountered numerous challenges with his parents Saboor and Vani, including inclement weather. Given the expected three days of wind rates above 65 kmph, Ayaan and his family decided against summiting. Since the weather was bad and climbing is dangerous for a small youngster like me, we decided against it. We were so terrified that it was difficult for us to walk,” Ayaan remarked.
