On Sunday, there were heavy rains in several parts of the UAE, strong winds, and dangerous seas in the Sea of Oman, with waves as high as seven feet offshore.
Rain rained in several locations around the country, including Jumeirah, Jebel Ali, and Deira in Dubai, Emirates Road, Sharjah Corniche, Sharjah International Airport, and Shamal and Wadi Al Beeh in Ras Al Khaimah and Al Salama in Umm Al Quwain.
Due to the inclement weather, Abu Dhabi Police also urged drivers to exercise caution and follow the variable speed limits indicated on electronic traffic signals.
The NCM predicts that Monday will be mostly clear with some clouds in the afternoon, changing to cloudy in the west. However, certain interior and coastal locations may experience high humidity at night and on Tuesday morning.
There will be light to moderate winds blowing from the northwest to the southwest, with occasional gusts of up to 40 km/h. The Arabian Gulf and the water of Oman will have choppy to moderate waves in the water.
The weather on Tuesday will be partly cloudy to cloudy at times in several areas.
