The Indian envoy has stated that two major accomplishments of the developing India-UAE relations are the establishment of a Hindu stone temple and the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi campus in Abu Dhabi.
The Indian Ambassador to the United Arab Emirates, Sunjay Sudhir, highlighted in his statement during the country’s 75th Republic Day celebrations that the relationship is experiencing a “rapid and positive transformation,” driven by the leadership on both sides.
Establishing and strengthening our relationships and venturing into new areas of collaboration have been facilitated by mutual trust and respect. After raising India’s tricolor national flag at the Indian Embassy in Abu Dhabi, Sudhir stated, “While India has engaged with all of its partners around the globe, the India-UAE relationship stands apart.”
He emphasized the leaders’ regular trips, citing the President, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, who is this month’s keynote guest at the Vibrant Gujarat Summit 2024.
“A strong bond between our nations was highlighted by the roadshow of approximately 50,000 greeters in Ahmedabad for his arrival motorcade, which demonstrated immense affection and support from the people.”
