RIYADH: As part of the arrangements for the beginning of Saudi-Spanish tourist cooperation, a group from the Saudi Ministry of Tourism met with counterparts from Spain on Thursday in Madrid. The trip was led by Sultan Al-Musallam, the Deputy Minister of Tourism for International Affairs.
Senior officials from both nations were also present, including Rosana Morillo, the secretary of state for tourism in Spain.
The Saudi Press Agency said that they talked about how to improve their strategic partnership in the tourist industry, including plans to send employees in the hospitality and hotel management services to prominent Spanish universities for training. They also looked into how to increase the sector’s investment potential in both nations.
Additionally, both parties stated that they wanted to promote activities that catered exclusively to Spanish tourists as well as tourist spots within the Kingdom.
