UAE will receive 200 unmanned helicopters from a major defense organization.

As part of the largest-ever order for unmanned helicopter systems, EDGE, a leading advanced technology and defense group, has signed a historic contract to supply 200 HT-100 and HT-750 unmanned helicopters to the UAE Ministry of Defense. This deal will improve the ministry’s VTOL capabilities.

ANAVIA, an EDGE organization based in Switzerland specializing in developing and producing autonomous aerial capabilities, will be responsible for producing unmanned VTOL systems.

The HT-100 and HT-750 are unmanned performance helicopters that serve several purposes in intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) and logistical missions. They are engineered to carry big loads with remarkable stability, becoming the benchmark for autonomous flight.

The HT-100 and HT-750 systems, as well as Edge Group, have achieved a significant milestone with this contract, according to Khaled Al Zaabi, President of Platform and Systems at Edge Group. This historic order is the largest ever for ANAVIA and the first order for these cutting-edge aircraft from the UAE Ministry of Defense, demonstrating the trust customers worldwide have in these outstanding products.
