Paula Ralph, a sports fanatic from Dubai, is getting ready to try the longest bicycle trip ever done by a woman and hopes to break the previous record for completion time. Ralph intends to go on her incredible journey on February 4 and hopes to complete 23,000 kilometers in 82 days.
The British expat will set off on a difficult route spanning 19 nations at Cape Point in South Africa, the starting point of the ambitious adventure. Nordkapp, Norway, is supposed to be her final destination.
Ralph stated that she has been organizing “The Long Ride” for the past four years, motivated by a desire to encourage women to follow their aspirations as well as a personal challenge. Beyond her goals, Ralph wants to emphasize the value of education for disadvantaged kids and bring attention to mental health issues.
For her next voyage, she received rigorous physical and mental training. She developed a strict schedule to deal with the intense summer heat in Dubai, rising at 3 a.m. and heading out on the road by 4 a.m. to complete the required number of kilometers.
