Holiday Dates for Dubai's Three-Week School break Have Been Announced.

March, which falls during the holy month of Ramadan and is followed by the much-anticipated Eid al-Fitr celebrations, will give most students a holiday Dates three-week break. During this time, schools will be closed for spring break or the end of the school year.

The Dubai Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA) website states that private schools in Dubai will celebrate a holiday from Monday, March 25, to Monday, April 15, 2024, starting in September.

The extended holiday lasts one week longer than the usual two-week break because of the anticipated Eid al-Fitr festival, which could take place on Wednesday, April 10, 2024.

The moon sighting is a prerequisite, though, and if it occurs, Dubai may observe holidays from Monday, April 8, to Friday, April 12.

Principals clarify that this could mean minimum three-week breaks for specific year groups.

“Our annual exams are scheduled to end by March 14, and the new academic year 2024–25 will begin on April 1, 2024,” stated Mohammed Kottakulam, Principal of Gulf Indian High School in Dubai.
