As part of the Abu Dhabi Programme for Effortless Customer Experience, the Department of Health – Abu Dhabi (DoH), which oversees the Emirate’s healthcare industry, has started phase one of the Sanadkom initiative. The initiative’s goal is to make government processes easier for the families of UAE nationals who have passed away, such as releasing death notifications so that beneficiaries can receive their retirement pensions.
Sanadkom wants to make it easier for families of the deceased to obtain government services, ease the grieving process for them, and support them after an Emirati family member passes away. A member of the joint government support team will be designated as part of the program to offer case-by-case phone support and assistance to grieving families, guaranteeing that all services are provided without requiring in-person visits to any government office.
In order to complete all required death-related transactions, including getting the death certificate, setting up the deceased’s funeral, and distributing the retirement pension benefits to the beneficiaries on behalf of the insured or the deceased, this will give families all the support and assistance they need.
