The girl, deeply attached to her father, who is currently incarcerated, reached out to the General Department of Punitive and Correctional Establishments with a heartfelt plea. She expressed the significance of her father’s blessing and presence at her wedding, emphasizing the deep emotional value it held for her and her family.
Responding with empathy and understanding, Major General Khalil Ibrahim Al Mansouri, Assistant Commander-in-Chief of Criminal Investigation Affairs at Dubai Police, led the efforts to fulfill this special request. The Department meticulously planned to ensure the father could witness his daughter’s most cherished moment – her wedding day.
Brigadier Marwan Jalfar, Director of the General Department of Punitive and Correctional Establishments, confirmed the reception and approval of the request. The Department’s ‘Bring Joy to the Inmate’s Daughter’ initiative went a step further, extending support to the bride in preparing and furnishing her new home.
