For the third consecutive year, Dubai was the most popular travel destination in the world.

The fact that Dubai has once again emerged victorious in TripAdvisor’s ‘Travelers’ Choice Awards Best of the Best global destination ranking should come as no surprise.

Using X, Dubai’s Crown Prince, Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, declared that his city is “the first to achieve this recognition for three consecutive years in a row.”

Thanks to the inspiring leadership of [His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai], Dubai’s consistent successes in the tourism sector—once considered an unreachable dream—have become a tangible reality, as stated by Sheikh Hamdan.

The order of the other cities on the list is as follows: Bali, London, Hanoi, Rome, Paris, and Cancun.

The Dubai government and leadership have always prioritized tourism. In his memo, Sheikh Hamdan also outlined the objectives for the tourism industry in Dubai under D33, the economic plan that Sheikh Mohammed unveiled the previous year. “Among the top 3 global economic cities and tourist destinations” is the goal, according to the statement.

The Crown Prince said, “We extend a warm welcome to all our guests visiting us from around the world.”

When it comes to global cities, Dubai stands out, and for good reason. As stated on their website, Tripadvisor, “Dubai is a destination that mixes modern culture with history, adventure with world-class shopping, and entertainment.”
