The US Secretary of State and the President of the UAE talk about a ceasefire in Gaza to save civilian lives.

US Secretary of State Antony Blinken arrived in the nation today, hosted by President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
His Highness talked about methods to strengthen ties in several areas to accomplish shared interests and cooperation and coordinated efforts between the two nations during the meeting in Qasr Al Shati in Abu Dhabi.

The discussion also included a variety of international and regional topics of shared interest as well as current events in the Middle East, notably the recent occurrences in the Occupied Palestinian Territory and the grave consequences of the Gaza Strip crisis for regional security, stability, and peace.

His Highness emphasized the necessity of pursuing a truce in the Gaza Strip to safeguard civilian lives and guarantee continuous, unhindered, and secure routes for the provision of humanitarian aid to Strip residents while averting their forced relocation.

To achieve regional stability, the two sides agreed that preventing the conflict from worsening is critical because this poses a threat to regional peace. They also decided that identifying a clear road forward is the first step toward a comprehensive and long-lasting peace.
