The United Arab Emirates has made a big splash in the aviation world this year. All of its airlines, both big and small, have been named among the top 20 safest in the world for 2023 by AirlineRatings.com. This is a big deal for the UAE, showing that they’re really good at keeping their planes safe and their passengers secure.

In the budget airline category, three UAE airlines – flydubai, Air Arabia, and Wizz Air – are among the safest low-cost airlines out there. This means they’re doing a great job at being affordable without compromising on safety.

For the bigger, more luxurious airlines, Etihad Airways and Emirates are also on the list. This just adds to the UAE’s reputation for having some of the best airlines in the world.

The list also includes other well-known budget airlines from around the world like AirAsia, Allegiant, and Ryanair, among others. For the bigger airlines, familiar names like Qantas, Qatar Airways, and Delta Air Lines are also recognized for their safety.

This ranking looked at 385 airlines and considered things like how many accidents they’ve had, how old their planes are, and if they meet international safety standards.

The editor-in-chief of AirlineRatings, Geoffrey Thomas, said that all airlines have little problems now and then, but the safest ones are good at handling these issues. This is what makes an airline stand out as really safe.

The UAE is a major player in the world of flying, with six airlines of its own and lots of flights to different places around the world. This recognition just goes to show how important the UAE is in the world of air travel.
