Mashaer Muhammed Hassan was raised on a farm next to a forest, where her father operated a honey-producing company in UAE. There, she made her first friends with bees and discovered how to create honey.
The family moved to the United Arab Emirates approximately 40 years ago when Mashaer’s father decided to open the first honey store in Al Ain. Their endeavor was a great success, and as a result, they expanded their farming operation to include Al Ain, Hatta, and other areas of the United Arab Emirates.
We increased the success of our beekeeping endeavors by importing honeybees from Sudan, according to Mashaer.
Mashaer still shares the pleasure of her upbringing with the world at the Hatta Honey Festival forty years later.
The festival’s eighth iteration got underway on December 27 and is set to run through the end of the month. Numerous local farmers showcased their honey directly from their farms during the event.
As the family’s new business manager, Mashaer enjoys participating in events and honey festivals to spread awareness of their honey.
Neem honey, produced from the nectar of neem tree blooms, is one of its unique varieties.
