In the Al Mulla Plaza incident in Dubai, many choose to rent a car because their cars are stuck in the basement.

Some of the automobiles parked in the basement of the famed Al Mulla Plaza in Dubai are still locked there, one week after a portion of the structure collapsed.

Following the event, the Dubai Police closed the basement parking, however several residents claimed to still be utilizing the building’s public parking on Monday. Those whose automobiles were parked in the basement are holding out for their autos to be released until the investigation is finished.

While the inquiry was still ongoing, a police officer was stationed outside the building. The back entrance was the only one still accessible to tenants and office workers.

Two people suffered minor injuries in the event, which was caused by the inappropriate storage of heavy items, according to a statement released by the Dubai Media Office on December 16. Government agencies acted quickly to guarantee everyone’s safety, including that of employees and guests.

For those whose vehicles were destroyed and became trapped in the basement, it can be a little difficult. As a result, I am forced to choose renting a car in order to get to work, handle insurance claims, and go grocery shopping,” stated a person who wished to remain anonymous.
