The Sharjah National Day Celebrations Committee has released a detailed schedule of events ahead of the 52nd UAE Union Day.
The national holiday is scheduled to honor a wide range of activities that will occur in the most well-known tourist and cultural destinations throughout the emirate between November 22 and December 3.
Also known as Union Day, this national celebration will be open to people of all ages and bring people together to take part in the celebrations honoring the country’s incredible history and notable achievements.
The Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, was thanked by Khalid Jasim Al Midfa, Chairman of the Sharjah National Day Celebrations Committee, for his patronage and assistance in organizing the festivities. He underlined that the Committee wanted to use these celebrations to honor the nation’s accomplishments while learning from past celebrations.
“We consider the UAE’s essence as we celebrate Union Day, embracing our culture and traditions while embodying a global outlook,” stated Al Midfa.
We extend an invitation to everybody to join us and take part in the events taking place around The Emirate of Sharjah, as this unifying occasion represents our common hopes for a better future.”
Sharjah National Park, Maliha Public Park, Al Hosn Island, Dibba Al Hisn, Khorfakkan Amphitheater, Souq Sharq, Wadi Al Helo, Kalba, Al Bataeh, Al Mudam, Al Dhaid Fort, and the Heritage Village in Al Hamriyah are just a few of the locations where the activities will take place.
