In a recent development on November 11th, Kuwait’s Ministry of Interior announced the apprehension of 282 individuals within the country due to violations of the Residence and Labour Law. The arrests encompass charges related to the illicit ownership of two domestic labour offices and a massage institute.
As part of comprehensive investigations and collaborative efforts among various authorities, the offenders were identified in diverse locations such as Khaitan, Hawalli, Al Dajeej, Kabd, Brayeh Salem, Salhiya, Mahboula, Fahaheel Markets, and Farwaniya.
At present, legal measures are actively being pursued against the accused. They have been officially referred to the pertinent authorities for ongoing and future proceedings, ensuring accountability for their actions.
