Mauritius PM Sheikh Mohammed is Present When the CEPA is Signed

The two nations witnessed the historic Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA) being signed by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai, and the Honourable Pravind Kumar Jugnauth, Prime Minister of the Republic of Mauritius. The deal, the UAE’s first CEPA with an African nation, is anticipated to increase Mauritius’ GDP by more than 1 percent by 2030 and the UAE’s GDP by 0.96 percent.

The President of the UAE, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, has led the UAE in forming solid partnerships that propel development and benefit our people. Sheikh Mohammed welcomed the signing of this historic agreement, emphasizing that the UAE “has consistently endeavoured to build bridges of friendship and cooperation with nations that share our vision of building a brighter future for the next generation.”

Our partnership agreement with the Republic of Mauritius is a testament to our commitment to advancing economic growth, fostering better bilateral relations, and creating many opportunities for our people. “Together, we shall fortify the ties that bind us and build a better future for our citizens,” His Highness declared.

The President of the United Arab Emirates, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, has the unwavering support of Prime Minister Jugnauth, who has expressed gratitude for this. Additionally, Jugnauth thanked Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum for his significant contribution to developing the two countries’ bilateral relations.
