The President of the University of Sharjah, Sheikh Sultan Bin Ahmed Bin Sultan Al Qasimi, the Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, declared that the University has been ranked among the top universities in the world by a number of international rankings.
Most remarkably, according to the US News Global Rankings, the University of Sharjah ranked fourth among Arab universities and first in the United Arab Emirates.
According to Sheikh Sultan Bin Ahmed, out of 2,250 universities and institutes worldwide, the University of Sharjah is ranked 261st globally and 55th in Asia.
He commended the work of the University’s faculty, students, administration, and board of trustees, all of whom contributed significantly to the Emirate of Sharjah’s fantastic achievement.
The president of the University of Sharjah emphasised that the university’s founder, His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, the ruler of Sharjah and a member of the Supreme Council, is credited with these accomplishments.
This vision has guided the university’s team and helped them outperform many esteemed universities worldwide in various fields, such as scientific publications, engineering sciences, energy and fuel sciences, and sustainable green science and technology.
