At Qasr Al Bahr on Tuesday, President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan presented the ten winners of the second Nafis Award in the individuals’ category for 2023–2024.

Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, Chairman of the Presidential Court, and Chairman of the Emirati Talent Competitiveness Council (ETCC), His Highness Sheikh Mansour Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, was present at the ceremony. Sheikh Mohamed congratulated the winners on continued success in their illustrious careers. He expressed his gratitude to partners for supporting the Emirati Talent Competitiveness Council’s objectives and the UAE’s vision of emiratizing the private sector.

Sheikh Mohamed conversed with the winners, learning about their accomplishments and initiatives that made them eligible for the award and their experiences and success stories in the private sector.

In addition, he acknowledged the efforts of private institutions in supporting the leadership’s Emiratization initiatives. He emphasized their significance in encouraging the participation of Emirati talent and cultivating a culture of excellence and competition in the labor market.

According to Sheikh Mohamed, the public and private sectors have complementary roles. The private sector plays a significant role in the country’s economy and is a major collaborator in realizing the nation’s aspirational developmental vision while strengthening its economic structure.
