United Arab Emirates, Abu Dhabi The UAE’s national airline, Etihad Airways, celebrated today’s launch of service to Al Qassim, the first flight ever to connect the capital of the UAE with Al Qassim in the country’s center.
With this new route, Etihad will now operate four nonstop flights per week to Saudi Arabia, making it its fourth destination overall. Through Abu Dhabi, this service will improve connectivity between KSA and the rest of the world.
“We celebrate the newest addition to our growing global network and reaffirm our commitment to the Saudi market as we mark 20 years of connecting Abu Dhabi with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia,” stated Antonoaldo Neves, CEO of Etihad Airways. We are thrilled to start flights to Al Qassim, a prominent cultural and commercial hub, in response to the growing demand for air travel to KSA’s thriving business and tourism market.
