UAE: Thanks to Sports, These Students in Dubai Achieved Almost Perfect Exam Scores

The 15-year-old student at The Indian High School, Nihaan Mohammed, had always excelled academically. However, he excelled in his studies and placed among the top scorers in his school’s 10th board examination after picking up badminton and becoming physically active.

In Grade 5, I started playing badminton, which had a big impact on my academic career, according to Mohammed. It was not only the exercise that kept him in shape. “Badminton improved my focus and grasping ability in addition to keeping me active. With a score of 98.2 percent, I recently finished my tenth grade,” Mohammed said, noting that athletics has improved both his physical and mental health.

Even with a rigorous three-hour training regimen every day, Nihaan has become an expert at striking a balance between his studies and sports. “I set aside time for study and exercised four days a week. I came to see that academics and physical activity go hand in hand, which can result in overall excellence,” Mohammed remarked.

Omar Al Khatib, a 14-year-old Egyptian student at a private school in Al Mamzar, Dubai, also experienced the shift from performing academically well to being physically active. He had also turned into a prime example of how engaging in physical activity can greatly improve academic achievement.
