Kangana Ranaut, the recently elected Member of Parliament from Mandi, Himachal Pradesh, has claimed that she was “slapped and assaulted” on Thursday at the Chandigarh airport by a CISF constable.
The incident happened as Kangana was on her way to New Delhi to meet with her colleagues for the new BJP Parliamentary Party meeting, which was set to take place on Friday.
In order to corroborate eyewitness accounts that she was “slapped and abused” by CISF constable Kulvinder Kaur while en route to board Vistara flight UK707 from Chandigarh to New Delhi, Kangana has uploaded a video to X.
Kangana claimed that Kaur slapped her at the security checkpoint because she was offended by the newly elected MP’s previous disparaging comments about the protests in Punjab by farmers.
Even though Kangana made it clear that she was safe, she was concerned about the “rise of militancy and terrorism in Punjab.”
Kaur was suspended and brought to the CISF Commandant Office for interrogation.
The chaos that ensued was captured on an independent video that was uploaded to X right away.
It is then alleged that the actress-turned-MP shoved aside the on-duty security guards.
