Sheikh Sultan bin Tahnoon Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Frontline Heroes Office, emphasized that volunteering has become a defining characteristic of the Emirati people, representing the humanitarian legacy of the late Founding Father, Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan.
On the occasion of the sixth anniversary of the National Platform for Volunteers’ launch, he expressed his pride in the groundbreaking initiative Volunteers.ae.
He continued, “Since the establishment of our beloved country, we have recognised that the true strength of nations is based on its people’s unity and solidarity.”
“Volunteering is not just a charitable work; it is a bridge that connects various segments of society and enhances the sense of belonging and shared responsibility,” he stated.
He also mentioned that the quantity of volunteers on the platform has significantly increased.
Sheikh Sultan also expressed his appreciation to partners, teams, and all of the Frontline Heroes volunteers.
Residents of the United Arab Emirates have access to a variety of platforms that offer volunteer opportunities, training courses, opportunities for donation, and various welfare initiatives.
Benefits of volunteering include the opportunity to obtain a UAE Golden Visa, which, if you meet certain requirements, is a residency permit that allows you to remain in the nation for ten years.
