Dubai Completed Internal Roadworks in Al Qusais Industrial Area.

Mattar Al Tayer, Director General and Chairman of the Board of Executive Directors of RTA, stated, “This internal roads project is consistent with the instructions of His Royal Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai, as well as the instructions of Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Dubai Executive Council. The guidelines call for improving residential and industrial infrastructure to support the emirate’s increasing population and urbanization and foster happiness and well-being.

The internal road project in Al Qusais Industrial Areas 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 has improved connectivity to four major streets: Amman Street, Beirut Street, Aleppo Street, and Damascus Street. It has also improved access and exit points to over 320 workshops, 25 residential buildings, shops, and educational facilities, benefiting an estimated 60,000 local residents.”

The RTA recently completed internal road and streetlighting projects in four residential areas: Margham, Lahbab, Al Lisaili, and Hatta, totaling 35 kilometres. Additional roadworks is being done in Lahbab and Al Lisaili to meet the needs of the residents.

Road construction in Margham has been completed, with a 5-kilometer stretch along the Dubai-Al Ain Road near Skydive Dubai serving approximately 1,100 residents. There have also been road improvements in Lahbab.
