Dubai: Following Record pProfits, Emirates Group Employees Receive a 20-Week Bonus.

The Emirates Group has granted its workers bonuses equal to twenty weeks’ pay, which will be added to their May paychecks. The bonus is a token of appreciation from the group for its outstanding performance in the fiscal year 2023–2024, when it recorded record profits of Dh18.7 billion and revenues of Dh137.30 billion, marking its highest-ever profitability.

The group’s overall workforce increased by 10% to 112406, marking their largest workforce to date as a result of notable revenue and profit increases for Dnata and Emirate in the previous year.

The business brought in Dh137.3 billion in revenue, 15% more than the previous year’s earnings. The group’s cash balance increased 11% from the previous year to Dh47.1 billion, the highest amount ever disclosed.

With combined group profits of Dh29.6 billion over the past two years, they have surpassed pandemic losses of Dh25.9 billion in 2020–2022.

The Emirates Group saw high demand for air transport and travel related services around the world, and because we were able to move quickly to deliver what customers want, we achieved tremendous results,” said Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman and Chief Executive of Emirates airline and Group. We are enjoying the results of years of constant investment in our services and goods, solid partnerships, and the skills of our skilled workforce.
