Private SRK Performance, a 13-tier Cake: six Incredible UAE Weddings

Weddings have long been the subject of unparalleled public attention. Due to their elaborate décor, Private celebrity guest list, and extravagant spending, these gatherings become aspirational for many.

One such occasion that got international media attention was the pre-wedding celebration of Anant Ambani, the son of Asia’s richest billionaire Mukesh Ambani, and Radhika Merchant, which took place last month. The guest list was a glittering affair, featuring everyone from world-class performers and actors to politicians and business owners. After the Covid epidemic, UAE has become one of the most sought-after locations for destination weddings. Numerous reasons, including convenient travel, an abundance of options, and attractive places, contribute to the country’s popularity as a destination for couples worldwide.

Bollywood filmmaker Japinder Kaur’s lavish Indian wedding to billionaire Harpreet Singh Chadha, her beau, was legendary. It was a five-day event that took place in 2017 at the Burj Al Arab, the Burj Khalifa, and the Palazzo Versace. 350 kg of rose petals were dropped from a helicopter onto a yacht above passengers in the first instance.

Donning a white, embroidered gown, a net veil and a diamond necklace, she wed her beau Sheikh Mana. A 7-tier cake was served at the ceremony that is believed to have cost millions of dirhams.
