Numerous customers reported interruptions on Tuesday evening due to a disturbance in the Du telecom network, which affected hundreds of users in the UAE.

“The issue arose one hour ago. “I attempted to stream music from YouTube to my phone and TV, but neither device was functional,” JVC resident Aman D stated. He also mentioned that friends in Downtown Dubai, Bur Dubai, and Abu Dhabi had also experienced problems with connectivity. The foreigner claimed that he was also experiencing issues with the social networking app Snapchat.

Kareem Mazhar posted on X, “Seems like a company-wide issue, same here in business bay, and some mobile services are disrupted too.”

Downdetector saw a spike in the number of users reporting problems with the Du network at 7:30 p.m.

Damac Hills 2 resident Tina Saguil, an expat from Dubai, stated, “Our Internet connection was spotty for a while, but it’s gone now. We discovered that others are having the same problem after we assumed we had forgotten to pay our Du bill.”

Social media sites were flooded with stories of the disturbance shortly after.

Du asked someone to message them directly (DM) on a social networking platform when they had questions about the outage.
