Bengaluru, India’s IT hub, is experiencing an alarming water problem that has left citizens apprehensive and concerned. Bengalureans living in the UAE voiced deep concern for their families back home as the situation worsened daily. Many Bangaloreans based in the UAE are evaluating various possibilities to safeguard their families’ well-being.
Shahbaz Ali, managing director of Reliance Aluminium and Glass LLC, stated, “The water problem in Bengaluru has been growing for a long time.” Ali, who resides in Bengaluru’s HRBR layout, noted that the current water deficit is a serious problem.
We live in a neighborhood that does not currently face a water scarcity issue. However, we are bracing for summer since we may have problems,” said Ali, adding that his relatives who live in the suburbs face major difficulties and must purchase water in restricted quantities daily.
“Many of my relatives living in Whitefield, Mahadevpura, and near HAL, are facing many issues and have to call for water tankers daily for their daily needs,” he added.
