UAE-India Flights: Airline Announces Lower Airfares in New Cost Categories.

Air India Express passengers can now save money on their flights by traveling light.

Budget carrier Air India Express has created a new price family that allows customers to choose between an expanded baggage limit of up to 40kg and no check-in luggage at all.

On February 20, the airline, a subsidiary of Air India and a member of the Tata Group, debuted Xpress Lite for UAE passengers who want to fly without checking in baggage.

Xpress Biz rates are offered on all new Air India Express Boeing 737-8 planes. Travellers who purchase Xpress Biz rates can enjoy increased luggage allowances of 25kg for domestic flights and 40kg for international flights. This cost includes priority check-in, baggage, and boarding services.

Air India Express already operates planes with Biz seats on more than 70 destinations in India.
