During Ramadan, the UAE Intensifies Humanitarian Aid to Palestinians in Gaza.

Following the directions of UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the International Humanitarian and Philanthropic Council has decided to increase humanitarian help to the Palestinian people in Gaza during the Holy Month of Ramadan. This will be accomplished through initiatives led by Emirati humanitarian NGOs.

The UAE’s increased Ramadan aid activities for Palestinians include basic necessities, healthcare, and religious observances, demonstrating the country’s unwavering commitment to developing solidarity and synergy with the Palestinian people.

Sheikh Theyab Bin Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of the International Humanitarian and Philanthropic Council, stated that President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan’s directives reflect his commitment to improving the Palestinian people’s humanitarian situation, particularly in the Gaza Strip, and alleviating their suffering.

The UAE launched the “Galant Knight 3” on November 5, 2023, led by the Ministry of Defence’s Joint Operations Command, in cooperation and coordination with the Emirates Red Crescent (ERC), the Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation, the Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan Charitable and Humanitarian Foundation, and the rest of the UAE’s charitable organizations, to provide humanitarian assistance to the Palestinian people in Gaza.
