UAE Welcomes 13th group of Wounded Palestinian Youngsters and Cancer Sufferers.

The 13th group of wounded Palestinian children and cancer patients arrived in the UAE on Saturday, following President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan’s directive to provide medical treatment for 1,000 wounded children and 1,000 cancer patients from the Gaza Strip in UAE hospitals.
The project exemplifies the UAE’s unwavering humanitarian dedication to supporting and assisting its brothers in various situations.

A plane took off from Al Arish International Airport. It landed at Zayed International Airport, transporting 98 Palestinians, including 40 youngsters in need of immediate medical attention for severe injuries and burns, as well as cancer patients requiring intensive care. They were joined by 58 family members.

This initiative is part of the UAE’s continuous multi-level efforts to assist the brotherly Palestinian people and boost the response to the deteriorating humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip.

Dr. Maha Tayseer Barakat, Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs for Medical Affairs and Life Sciences, stated that the UAE is committed to alleviate the humanitarian suffering of the Palestinians in Gaza.
