UAE Light Rains: Some Locals Spend More Than Dh100 in Three Days to keep their Automobiles Clean

Many people in the UAE and Sharjah have had to cope with unforeseen bills after their cars became dirty due to the erratic drizzle over the past few days. Some locals have been washing their automobiles more than once due to the shifting weather covering them in filth.

Some car owners became irritated when they discovered their automobiles were unclean after every wash due to light rainfall. Some locals claimed to have spent more than Dh120 washing their cars up to three times in three days.

“If I want to leave early for the office, I normally park outside my building. It has poured at night for the past four days, leaving my car incredibly dusty. Abdel Rahman, an expat Sudanese living in Al Nahda, Sharjah, said, “The first time I had it washed at a gas station near my house, I couldn’t believe how quickly my car got dirty again after washing it.”

“To keep things tidy, I spent more than I had anticipated. I’ve spent Dh120 in the last three days alone to maintain my automobile clean,” Abdel Rahman continued.
