UAE: An Indian expat's allegedly murdered body is returned home by plane

An Indian expat’s body has been returned home after being reportedly murdered in the United Arab Emirates. Anil Kumar Vincent was reported missing earlier this month. He had worked at a local textile company for several years.

Indian social worker Naseer Vatanappally stated, “He had been employed for a company for more than 35 years as a PRO.” He was requested to check out one of the company’s offices in Ras Al Khor on January 2. Nobody had heard from him since then.

Naseer claims that Anil’s brother, an accountant for the same business, reported a problem after failing to contact him. “After the required 48-hour wait, Anil’s son traveled to a nearby police station with his mother to file a complaint after arriving in Dubai from India,” he claimed. “They got a call back from another police station asking to meet officers a few days later.”
