UAE: Where was the area with the most weekend rainfall?

The UAE weather department reports that during the weekend, the Expo area in Dubai received the most rainfall.

The nation experienced extensive disruption on Friday as a result of the heavy rain and thunder that affected several places. Road closures and even airline disruptions resulted from this.

More than 50 millimeters of rain fell in many other parts of the nation, such as Ras Al Khaimah and Umm al Quwain.

The Expo area in Dubai saw 65.8mm of rainfall, which was the most ever recorded in Dubai, according to Dr. Ahmed Habib of the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM), who spoke with Khaleej Times on Monday. The amount of rainfall recorded in this part of Dubai this year is more than in prior years.”

There was heavy rain in Deira, Dubai, and moderate rain in the districts of Mohammad Bin Zayed Road and Al Soora. While traveling towards Jebel Ali, light to moderate rain was also observed in Jumeirah and on the Sheikh Zayed Road.
