UAE: A factory in Abu Dhabi is on fire

According to the police, a UAE factory in the Musaffah industrial neighborhood of Abu Dhabi caught fire early on Thursday.

Locals are asked not to disseminate rumors or unreliable information.

Because firefighters were able to quickly contain the fire, everyone’s safety was guaranteed. The officials stated in the advisory that no casualties had been reported.

The Abu Dhabi Police asked locals to avoid spreading rumors and unconfirmed information and to only trust information from official sources.

A federal law on combatting rumors and cybercrimes states that spreading false information online is a serious offense that carries a fine of at least Dh100,000 and a minimum sentence of one year in prison.
