On Monday night, thundershowers battered parts of the United Arab Emirates, including Sharjah. On Tuesday, it began to pour at around two in the morning. The findings were clear very quickly.
Rain stopped traffic from moving smoothly, causing it to move slowly on a few waterlogged roadways. A few of the cars had become stuck in the center of the road. A portion of Dubai and Abu Dhabi, notably the affluent Jumeirah neighborhood, were also impacted.
Rain kept falling all night long till the next morning. On Tuesday, people who live in Sharjah’s Al Khan neighborhood woke up to see flooded roads and cloudy skies. Other locations, such as Qusais, Dubai, Al Nahda, and Clocktower, were also submerged.
In order to prevent the vehicle from skidding, the police have advised drivers to slow down when turning, avoid abrupt braking, keep a safe space between vehicles, and drive cautiously.
A report on the weather around the nation for the upcoming days has been released by the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM). Convective clouds over coastal areas will continue to move toward the Eastern and Western sections of the country until Tuesday afternoon. This would indicate variable-intensity rain, thunder and lightning, and possibly hail in certain locations.
