Through Abu Dhabi's Ports, Non-oil Foreign Commerce Totals Dhs281.9 Billion.

In 2023, the total non-oil foreign trade that passed through the Emirate of Abu Dhabi’s border crossings was Dhs281.903 billion, representing an 8% increase from Dhs260.435 billion in 2022.

The General Administration of Abu Dhabi Customs’ Director-General, Rashed Lahej Al Mansoori, emphasized that the growth rates show Abu Dhabi’s economic expansion in all sectors and that this expansion is actively driven by the policies and decisions made in the entire country.

“The Emirate of Abu Dhabi witnessed significant growth in several key economic activities during 2023, which was directly reflected in the growth of foreign trade through the Emirate’s ports,” stated Abdulla Gharib Al Qemzi, Acting Director-General of the Statistics Centre – Abu Dhabi. The outcomes as mentioned earlier indicate the continuous endeavors to broaden the economy, showcasing the resilience and adaptability of the Emirati economy. Abu Dhabi has strengthened its economic standing on a worldwide scale with the acceleration of the growth of non-oil sectors and the robust infrastructure that supports them.
