Three Europeans who were stranded in the emirate’s rough mountainous terrain were saved by the Air Wing Section of the Ras Al Khaimah Police without suffering any injuries. Lieutenant Colonel Pilot Abdullah Ali Al Shehhi, the head of the Ras Al Khaimah Police’s Air Wing Section, claims that the section received a report from the Operations Room indicating that three people were stuck in a hilly area of Ras Al Khaimah at an altitude of 4,000 feet.
According to him, a section chopper raced to the scene, flew the stranded Europeans to the section headquarters, and then turned them over to the appropriate authorities.
Al Shehhi emphasized that mountain hikers should take all necessary precautions and follow all rules to ensure their safety and keep them away from dangerous areas where their lives could be in danger.
To guarantee the safety of individuals who pursue hiking or mountain climbing, authorities have frequently emphasized the significance of adhering to preventive measures and norms. They have also advised people to stay as far away from rocky areas that could endanger their safety.
