The UAE President Mandates a Monthly Payment of 50% of the Basic Salary for Every Mosque Staff.

His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, has mandated that all mosque workers receive a monthly cash allowance equal to 50% of their base pay. The directive will benefit state-level imams and muezzins associated with the General Authority for Islamic Affairs and Endowments.

Dr. Omar Habtoor Al Derai, Chairman of the Authority, stated that this gesture, which was followed up on and supported by Sheikh Mansour Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and President of the Presidency Court, would be automatically distributed with the monthly wage.

He thanked and appreciated Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Sheikh Mansour Bin Zayed Al Nahyan for their concern and care for mosque workers and their support for the General Authority of Islamic Affairs and Endowments in carrying out its religious and social duties.
