The First Quarter's Tourism Revenue in Ajman Increased by 7%.

In the first quarter of 2024, the Emirate of Ajman saw a 7% increase in total tourism revenue, fueled by a 3% increase in occupancy rates and a 9% increase in visitor numbers over the same period in 2023.
The Ajman Tourism Development Department announced on Saturday that the average length of hotel stays increased by 5%.

Anticipating a significant presence, the Ajman Department of Tourism Development (ADTD) is preparing for the Arabian Travel Market 2024 (ATM), which will take place from May 6 to May 9, 2024. This premier event provides ADTD with a significant platform to showcase Ajman’s vibrant events calendar, rich cultural heritage, varied Things to Do tourism offerings, and impressive tourism growth trajectory.

The encouraging trend remains as we move forward to Q1 of 2024. A 7% rise in total revenues is seen in Q1 2024 when compared to the same period in 2023, indicating a strong financial start to the year. An additional 3% increase in occupancy rates, which suggests a growing demand for lodging, supports this growth. Additionally, there has been a 9% increase in the overall number of visitors, indicating continued interest in Ajman as a destination of choice. Furthermore, there has been a 5% increase in the average Length of Stay , indicating a positive trend of visitors staying longer in the city.
