The Awareness Campaign "Your Belongings, your Responsibility" is Launched by Sharjah Police

The “Your belongings, your responsibility” awareness campaign was started by the Sharjah Police General Command with the goal of promoting preventive measures to reduce vehicle content theft. This action aligns with the Ministry of Interior’s strategic objectives to improve safety and security.

The campaign, which runs through the end of May, intends to inform locals in Arabic, English, and Urdu via social media.

Brigadier General Yousef Obaid Bin Harmoul, the director of the Comprehensive Police Stations Department at the Sharjah Police General Command, emphasized the campaign’s role in increasing community awareness about protecting their belongings.

He urged community members to follow preventive measures and work with security authorities to discourage behaviors that lead to vehicle content theft. Installing car alarms, avoiding parking in remote locations, and not leaving valuables inside cars in plain sight are all crucial safety measures.

The Sharjah Police General Command set up a promotion called “Your Belongings, Your Responsibility” to strengthen preventive measures against vehicle theft. This move aligns with the Ministry of Interior’s increasing security and safety mission. The campaign, which runs until the end of May, aims to educate residents in Arabic, English, and Urdu on social media.
