Sultan Bin Ahmed's Support For The Sharjah Media Council

Sheikh Sultan Bin Ahmed Bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and Chairman of the Sharjah Media Council, presided over the council’s meeting on Wednesday at the Sharjah Classic Car Museum.

The Council began the meeting by thanking and appreciating His Highness Dr Sheikh Sultan Bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, for issuing the decree restructuring the Council, his trust and constant interest in the Sharjah media sector, and his continued support for all initiatives and programmes launched by the Sharjah Media Council and related institutions.

During the meeting, the Council discussed a variety of media-related topics in the Emirate of Sharjah, as well as reviewing the reports of the Sharjah Media Council’s affiliated entities, their most notable achievements in the previous period, and their future plans.

The Council reviewed the operational report on photography permits issued during the first half of 2024, which dealt with the types of permits issued for ground and aerial photography, totaling 67 permits, as well as the classification of permits according to topics, geographical distribution, and the most requested locations at the city and regional levels in the Emirate of Sharjah.
