Sultan Bin Ahmed is in Sharjah for an International Conference on Arabic Language.

The first Sharjah International Conference for the Arabic Language opened on Wednesday morning at the Al Razi Auditorium, Medical and Health Campus. Sheikh Sultan Bin Ahmed Bin Sultan Al Qasimi, the deputy ruler of Sharjah and president of the University of Sharjah, was present.

The University of Sharjah organized the event with “Prospects for Digital Transformation and Sustainability” as its main theme.

Dr. Hamid Majoul Al Nuaimi, the Chancellor of the University of Sharjah and the Chairman of the Conference’s Supreme Committee, thanked the University of Sharjah President for funding the conference during his remarks. He emphasized the value of developing Arabic, bringing it into play for comprehending revelation, and maintaining the nation’s heritage, evident through the sponsorship.

Al Nuaimi also emphasized the University of Sharjah’s commitment to scientific investigation and the dissemination of information, especially in the area of Arabic language study. He claimed that by continuing to teach Arabic using the most recent curriculum, the University is demonstrating its dedication to bolstering the country’s Arab and Islamic identities. This conference is proof of that commitment. Furthermore, considering how quickly the world changes, it looks at the language’s chances of maintaining its position as the leading language in worldwide language classifications.
