The Honorable The plans for the “1 Billion Meals Endowment” tower, the tallest endowment tower in the UAE, located on Sheikh Zayed Road, were reviewed by Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister of the UAE, and Ruler of Dubai, in the presence of Mohammad Al Gergawi, Secretary General of Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives (MBRGI), and Hisham Al Qassim, CEO of Wasl Asset Management Group.
The tower, which cost Dhs800 million to build, is one of the projects under the 1 Billion Meals Endowment program, which aims to increase endowment assets and provide the best returns possible to support the provision of a food safety net for tens of millions of people worldwide.
Sheikh Mohammed also went over the most recent projects and investment proposals under the initiative, which is run by the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives (MBRGI), during his meeting with the 1 Billion Meals Endowment Board of Trustees.
