Sharjah shopping events honor Kalba culture

The Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) invited the public to the City of Kalba’s public market for the “Kalba Winter” project, which included several promotional shopping events and folklore performances as part of the ongoing Sharjah Shopping Promotions.

Throughout the event’s two days, there was a lively and celebratory mood as market attendees were given presents and awards. “Kalba Winter” is a component of SCCI’s initiatives to boost business ventures, fund start-ups, and advertise travel and historical sites in Sharjah’s Eastern Region.

Mohammed Ahmed Amin Al Awadi, Director-General of the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce; Abdulaziz Mohammed Shattaf, Assistant Director-General of the Communication and Business Sector; Ibrahim Rashid Al Jarwan, Director of Economic Relations and Marketing; and Jamal Saeed Buzangal, Director of the Media Department at the Chamber, were present at the festivities.

Activities, competitions, and performances by folk troupes from the UAE, Egypt, and India were featured in the “Kalba Winter” program.

As people participated in the open competitions and watched the artistic and heritage performances, valuable presents and awards were given to individuals, families, and the general public.
