The initiative, according to Obaid Saeed Al Taniji, Director General of SCM, “embodies the emirate’s keenness to provide residents with a safe environment by providing the highest rates of safety and security in residential and commercial buildings.”

The government is funding this Dh100 million project, which will replace aluminum building facades with non-combustible ones that meet the highest standards and specifications. The project is being carried out in accordance with a schedule and collaborative plans with the Sharjah Civil Defence Authority and the Department of Planning and Survey.
